Our Story

Rooted in tradition. Guided by intention.

Where It Began

Lita’s Way began with a tradition passed quietly through generations. Growing up in Honduras, founder Miguel Salvati remembers his grandmother — his Lita — sharing plant-based remedies that were simply part of everyday life, used to support balance and skin health.

Rediscovering Calaguala

Years later, while visiting Honduras, Miguel was reintroduced to one of those traditional remedies: Calaguala, a fern long used across Central America. When his mother recognized it instantly, it revealed how deeply these traditions had endured over time.

A Plant with History

Calaguala, also known as Polypodium leucotomos, is native to the rainforests of Central and South America. For centuries, it has been traditionally used by indigenous communities as part of daily wellness practices.

Why Lita’s Way

Inspired by this lineage, Miguel founded Lita’s Way to honor traditional remedies while bringing them forward in a modern, transparent, and responsible way — offering clean, plant-based support for people seeking long-term balance.
